Bio-decontamination using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) fogging provides an automated method of achieving the required destruction of pathogenic and other microorganisms across cleanrooms and aseptic enclosures.
H2O2 is dispersed as micro-condensation or dry fog within a sealed environment and held at the required concentration for a predetermined exposure period, eliminating viable microorganisms, including resistant spores.
After exposure, the HVAC system or aeration units remove the residual H2O2, breaking it down into water vapour and oxygen until concentrations fall below specified safe exposure limits.
